6:30-7:30, Kornberg Atrium | Get (re-)acquainted reception at the Atrium of the brand new Kornberg Research Building, across Elmwood Drive from the River Campus in the Medical Center. CS Professor and Dean of The College Tom LeBlanc will welcome the assembly. | 7:30-8:30, Kornberg Atrium | Buffet-style dinner with jazz/dance band accompaniment by Al Biles and the Virtual Quintet . After dinner, there will be some reminiscences and remarks by those involved in the early days of the department. The list of speakers includes: Dana Ballard, Jerry Feldman, Rick Rashid, Robert Sproull, and Herb Voelcker. |
Saturday is the main day for Sesquicentennial events, including two keynote talks sponsored by the Computer Science Department and additional public talks describing exciting current research in CS.
