Human Dynamics Where will you be tomorrow at 3pm
A range of applications, from predicting the spread of human and electronic viruses to city planning depend on our ability to understand human activity patterns. I will discuss recent effort to explore human activity relaying on 'big data' extracted by mobile phone companies. I will show how we can measure the predictability of human activity, raising fundamental questions regarding the role of habits, free will, and the role of big data in our life.
