Concurrent Collections (CnC) Introduction
Concurrent Collections (CnC) is a parallel programming model that can separate the concerns between area experts and system tuning experts. The area programmer can program with data flow style method to describe the program's semantic constraints, while the system tuners can fully focus on improving the CnC library's performance on a specified parallel system. In this presentation I'll talk about the background and general idea of CnC, then introduce its important concepts. At the last part, some detailed examples will be presented to demonstrate how to design and implement a CnC parallel program.
