Online registration has closed.

Proceed directly to the secure on-line registration form if you already read and understand the information described below.

You will need to make separate lodging arrangements with the conference hotel, The Sagamore, via snail mail or fax, using their printed reservation form. Questions regarding lodging can be directed to the hotel at +800-358-3585. Please reserve by September 18 and mention ACM SOSP'03 to get the following per-room conference rate:

Lodge Room $157 per day
Lodge Suite $217 per day
Hotel Room $187 per day
Hotel Suite $227 per day

Rooms may be shared by more than one person. They are subject to 7% state/local tax and a service charge of $6 per person per day ($24/day for a 3rd adult in the same room).

We have set up a mailing list at Yahoo! Groups for attendees who are interested in finding roommates or sharing a ride to the conference site. You don't have to be a Yahoo! member to subscribe, post to the mailing list or view archived messages. Please note that the conference organizers are not responsible for content posted to the mailing list.

If you will be traveling with a spouse and/or children who will not attend the conference, meal arrangements for them (as well as lodging) must be handled directly with the conference hotel. If your traveling companions wish to attend the Monday banquet, you will be able to purchase tickets on-site. The hotel has declined to handle this in advance.

If you register as a student, then please bring with you to the conference a student identification card or some other document that verifies that you are a full-time student. The early registration deadline for student scholarship applicants has been pushed back to September 18. Those applying for student scholarships should register after receiving notifications on the awards.

Note that on-line and by-mail registration closes on October 15, four days before the conference! Registrations will be accepted on site, but keep in mind that last-minute hotel arrangements could be much more expensive than the negotiated conference rate (which is only valid for reservations made on or before September 18).

You can register either using the secure on-line form or by filling out a hard-copy form and mailing it to:
     Kai Shen
     SOSP-19 Registration Chair
     Department of Computer Science
     University of Rochester
     Rochester, NY 14627-0226
Note that online registration is strongly preferred because it is safer and less prone to errors. Please use the mail-in or fax registration only if necessary.

If you need to cancel your registration, a cancellation request must be received in writing seven days before the start of the conference. A US$50 cancellation fee will be charged. Mail cancellations to the Registration Chair at the above address.

Email inquiries about the registration should be directed to kshen@cs.rochester.edu.
