In the ICWSM 2009 Weblog Corpus:

did you ever want something so bad, that it actually hurt? that your body, mind and heart just craved it so bad, that you lost all self control? its like an outside force made its way into your way of thinking, way of feeling, and just ripped you apart at the seems. nothing made sense. nothing ANYONE told you seemed to matter, because you didnt care. you felt what you felt, and nothing was coming in between you and your desire. sometimes the need for something becomes so out of control that you lose yourself in the process. you realize you sacrificed so much, and for what? a glimpse. a slight touch. it was a tease, and all the while you thought you were getting closer and closer. but then one day you finally woke up. you opened your eyes and saw that everyone could be right. nothing deserves that much attention. nothing that hurts you all the while atleast. someone or something that can take so much out of you, change your entire being, should be worth it. that someone or something should realize your worth it. but sometimes its too late, and you realize all that time you were just wasting your strength. it was a nice effort, but sometimes, if things stay that far out of reach, maybe they were never meant to be grasped. maybe its a sign that it isn’t worth your time, or your effort. that something even more worth it, will appear when you least expect it. or atleast thats what we can think to get usby. why cant I just let go, its not like its even in my reach anymore, im holding on to air, and even that is thinning out. it hurts to finally see that some things may never change, some things may never be how you want them, and some things are better left where they are. why cant I take my own advice?
