I’m in some kind of state recently. it’s as though my body is foreign to me. my stomach seems to be churning constantly, to the point where I am needing to lie down just to readjust to whatever it is I am trying to do. the smallest things are affecting me in ways that ripple through my subconsciousness. last week I solved my class / credit problem, this week I am worried about taking a nine – credit foundations course meant for’ ’ first and second years’ ’ and a class dedicated to david cronenberg taught by the professor that gave me a zero last year, and pretty much made my third year fall semester a living nightmere. but it’s not as though I am enjoying this predicament, or else I am not looking for ways to kick whatever is kicking me. I’m keeping active, not’ ‘active’’ in the true sense of the word (I don’t have the wherewithal for that kind of thing, but for the most part I am making sure that I’m a part of things. these are my formiddable years; and they should not go to waste. the important fact to comprehend is that I have no reason to be as downtrodden as I feel. there are many things going on around me. for starters, on my first day of school this past thursday, I got dressed up all nice with my beastie boys t – shirt and elvis impersonator sunglasses and all. not only did I look badass, but I was smoking – ly sexy. I believe some heads were turned, and there may have been some staring. but before anybody bounces back with a’ ’ you fly was open’ ’ remark, I checked and it was firmly shut. this is my last year of university, or at least it will be for a short while. who knows what the future will bring. but I’ll be damned if I get yorked; I’ve got things to do, and I need to graduate next june.
