About:

Bo Hu is a fifth year PhD student. He is working on improving Augmented Reality rendering with Prof. Chris Brown. When he's bored with all the making-no-sense math, he likes shooting making-no-sense pictures using his Pentax ZX-M camera.

Research Interests:

My research interests are mainly in Augmented Reality (AR), which provides a venue for exploring new computer vision and computer graphics techniques and which is of practical importance. Specifically, I have been working in the following disciplines.
  • 2D-3D Registration and camera calibration.
  • Lighting modeling.
  • 3D object reconstrution.

Projects:

Improving Augmented Reality Rendering: We improve the human-computer interaction experience in AR systems by simulating global lighting effects between virtual and real objects.
