The race was two circles between the foot bridge to the west of Gennesee Valley Park (the department picnic site) and the Elmwood bridge. The total length was 2.60 miles, about a tenth of the full Marathon. The race was started 5pm September 12, 2008, under a cloudy sky and finished just before a light rain.
