How to instrument trace using GCC (thanks to Tongxin)
Locate the compiler by either
Check out the gcc-4.1.0 version in the repository:
svn checkout
file:///p/compiler/repos/gcc-4.1.0/trunk
[your local dir]
(see
instructions for using the repository
) and build the compiler (see
installation notes
), or
Use the installed copy at
/p/compiler/built/gcc-4.1.0/bin/
Instrument your test code using the following compile option:
-ftrace-dep
