About Me
I am originally from Kolkata (called Calcutta originally) which is
also described as The City Of Joy
by Dominique Lapierre but I have
spend almost my entire life at Mumbai.
I did my undergraduate (B.E.) (Bachelor
of Engineering) in Computer
Engineering from Vivekanand Education
Society's Institute of Technology, Mumbai which is under the
affiliation of University of Mumbai.
Apart from Robotics I am also extremely interested in Mathematics. It
is my love for mathematics that has in a way developed within me a way
to do things systematically. The world is full of chaos and I believe
that mathematics is the only means by which a logical deduction can be
made out of this chaos.
I have balanced my studies
along with a
host of hobbies.
My hobbies
include:
1) Philately
I have a collection of
about
5000 stamps from different countries of the world.
2) Coin
Collection
3) Reading Books
A man’s best friends are
his
books. I derive great pleasure in reading books. Books have taught me
the ways of life…methods to do things rightly and avoid doing the wrong
things….Books have imbibed in me certain principles…taught me various
philosophies.
Among the books I have read
recently are:
Atlas Shrugged
The
Alchemist
The
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter Series ……etc

5) Playing
outdoor games like Soccer and
Cricket
I have represented my class
in
various intra-class college tournaments in the games of Cricket and
Soccer. I am a very big fan of Sachin Tendulkar (Plays cricket for
India) and Ryan Giggs (Plays soccer for Manchester United and Wales).
Am a Manchester United fan too.
Love F-1 car racing. My
favorite team is Ferrari and my favorite driver.......of
course...Michael Schumacher.
6) Astronomy
I had made a telescope
during
my school days with which I used to watch star- gazing and
sky-watching. Now, I have a good telescope and am a member of a
Sky-Watching Club-Khagol Mandal.

Drawing
Creativity and innovation
are a
man’s best qualities and these are exemplified by drawing. I have
cleared the drawing exams conducted by the J.J School Of Arts. Among
the different forms of drawing, I am well-versed with Oil Painting,
Glass Painting, Charcoal Painting and Fabric Painting.

Playing Tabla
Tabla is a percussion
instrument and forms an integral part of Indian Classical Music. I have
been playing Tabla since the past 11 years. My Guru’s name (My teacher)
is Late Brij Raj Mishra.
