I am a fifth-year graduate student in Computer Science department at University of Rochester. My advisor is Dan Gildea. You can reach me at (my_last_name@cs.rochester.edu)

I go by Tag [tæɡ] among English speakers. Being in NLP, It's a fun name to have.

I am interested in statistical approaches to natural language processing. Most of my research during Ph.D. program has been on machine translation. My publications generally fall into one of three broad categories: Improving SCFG-based machine translation, using latent information to improve NLP tasks, and improving parameter optimization.
