Hi, I'm from Iraq, I got my bachelor and master degrees in Computer Science from Baghdad University in 1996, 1999 respectively. I also got my second Master degree in Computer Science from University of Rochester in 2009.
I worked as a part time lecturer in Baghdad University and AL-Nahreen University for three years.
After that, in March 2003, I joined the faculty staff of the Computer science department in the college of science / Baghdad University, and I'm still a faculty member there.

During my, approximately, five years teaching in the Computer Science department at Baghdad University I taught different classes, some of these classes are:
Data Structures , System Software, Programming languages (Visual Basic, Java, Delphi).

Working At Harvard Experience:
My First working experience outside my university and away from teaching, classes, and students, was at Harvard University when I was selected from a pool of 100 candidates to get that opportunity,
In Harvard I first worked with Prof Todd Zickler in image processing, since my master thesis was about Image compression. With Zickler, I worked in an ongoing project that deal with real-time detection and camera calibration using coded target
After that I started working with Prof Matt Welsh and his CitySense group,I worked in this project for a year, I wrote the interface program which run on a router with an embedded linux OS. the interface receive data from a weather sensor device attached to the router, parse it, and convert it to a human readable format, the data represent different weather feature like, Air temperature, Air Humidity,Air Pressure, Rain and hail Accumulation, intensity and duration,
Further more, and by using a php script and mysql database language and after we get that real time data in the node side we send it over the wireless signals to the server side in order to be stored in the database available in the server side .
Also, I designed a website that give the use the possibility to go through the database and select to retrieve a special kind of data for any period of time. Beside that this site can be used by an authorized people to manage the node's location, attaching a weather sensor to that node and start receiving the data from it or stopping it
My Future Planning:
I intend to get my PhD degree and go back to my country, my family,my nieces and nephews whom I miss so much.
