Rochester Image Processing Package (IPP)

The Rochester Image Processing Package includes routines for many common computer vision applications. Notably, it includes routines for convolution and lineal feature extraction using stick growing. Most of the algorithms in IPP have been configured to run using parallel processing on machines with appropriate hardware. The parallel algorithms use the Generalized Thread Model (GTM) package. The code will run with only a modification to the Make configuration file on Sun's Solaris, SGI's IRIX, Digital's UNIX and Microsoft's Win32 platforms, Windows NT and Windows 95.
