Mehdi Hafezi Manshadi
I am a sixth year PhD student. Broadly speaking, my area of research is Computational Linguistics and Machine Learning. More specifically, I am interested in applying machine learning and statistical methods to the NLP applications requiring deep language understanding. I am currently working on statistical semantic pasring and staistical scope dismabguation. In my free time (if I have any), I work on computational grammar and prosody for Persian. Semantic representation and scope underspeci-fication have been my fields of research in the past. My advisor is Prof. James F.
