About Me

I am Iftekhar Naim, a PhD student at the Computer Science Department, in the University of Rochester. My home country is Bangladesh, a beautiful country in South Asia.

My research interest is statistical machine learning and its applications to Natural Language Processing, Bioinformatics, and Computer Vision.

My advisor is Prof. Dan Gildea. For my masters thesis, I have worked on analysis of large scale flow cytometry data with Prof. Gaurav Sharma , Dr. Tim Mosmann, and Prof. Suprakash Datta.

Research Interests

Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Bioinformatics, Computer Vision.
