Ignoring Some Files

If you would like to have Subversion ignore some of the files in the current directory (e.g. core dumps or intermediate data) do the following:
svn propset svn:ignore <ignored files> <directory>
where the <ignored files> can be regular expressions like "*.o" and <directory> is assumed to be $PWD if omitted. For those who are familiar with cvs, the .cvsignore file can be simulated:
svn propset -F .cvsignore .
will load all of the ignore rules. Currently, subversion will not allow you to add and remove rules. The entire set (for a single directory) must be set at once.
