Using Tablets or an IPad as a second screen for your Zoom Session

To use an iPad or tablet and annotate during a Zoom class, here is the proposed workflow:

  1. Launch and host the Zoom meeting from a desktop or laptop computer. Enable recording of the meeting on this device.

  2. Also join the meeting from your iPad or tablet. You will need to mute both the microphone and speakers for one of the sources.

  3. Share the screen of your iPad to the meeting. This will allow you to draw on the iPad while the computer records the meeting and then upload the .mp4 file from the computer using the usual workflow.
