i come from the old school. when i say old, I don't mean phillie or the beastie boys (although their latest record shows you can get by keeping the tunes the same). i mean old like ancient - no, not too ancient lik prehistoric, I mean ancient like the Romans, Greeks, Phoenicians, and Presbyterians. word up! there are some old school values instilled in me as I scratch these words and scribbles with my black ink quail pen on salty papyrus but yet sundried by the earth's sun which for you astronomical nuts is something like 93 million miles away. whaere was I? oh yes my dear listeners. gather close as I disclose to you my philosophy of fun - work. what is that you cry? work! why SOF that is the opposite of fun. how dare you speaketh the "W" word. now now, my denizens of fun, whiel fun can be intiated by fun, sometimes a little elbow grease is needed to get things going. moving. sometimes that party will need some organzing, that trip - some accounting, that tree - some planting. you get the idea, no? I liek doing things, because I like seeing people have fun...

but alas ye maties, the position of secretary only endures as long as the sitcom "Wings" should have endured - about one year. That is right, that fucking show that used to be right on after Cheers and only stayed on because no one else wanted the time slot. Back to the task - I must move my fun ways to upstate NY where I will concentrate on entertaining my coleagues in humanity with my lyrical and herculean ways. oh god. so who will be the "heir to the throne?" (I put it in quotes because I think part of the star wars part 3 trilogy books is named that). I say Mike Bush is as good a secretary as any. though many people may remember the failed attempt from last weekend in which we all did was sit around and wait to go running. but this weekend he has friday night at axis, saturday at the cape and a leisurely sunday at the ball game. wonderful. if only yours truly could be present to partake in such fun-goings-on's, but alas I will be kicking root down in Seattle. yes! sorry. Mike you are the heir. here are the details of his plan for the weekend of the 25th:

  Subject: My research....

Well here is what I have come up with.

One of my main goals is to see my grandparents. So, I want to ride on the
Bonanza line because it arrives right near where they live. The P-B is 22
round trip. But the Bonanza is 24 round trip. So I'm going to ride on that
one, unless anyone else can find one that goes to Falmouth.

It leaves at 7:40 am on Sat from south station. So we would get there
around 9. There is a beach that is nice and walking distance from my
grandparents house so if you didn't want to come with me to see my grandpa
in the hospital you could go hang out there. The ferry leaves at 10:30 and
  12. I'm not sure which I would want to take out to the cape. Plus as a
bonus, the ferry is walking distance from their house as well. Its the
Island Queen. The last ferry back is at 6:45 pm so we would stay out there
till then. Then I would visit with grandparents for a little bit and leave
on the 8pm (or around there) bus back to boston.

So that is what I've found. Any other suggestions are great, but I want to
see my grandparents if I'm out that way.

PS Anyone interested in the Sox game on Sunday?
